Group Bookings

Groups are welcome at the Ice Rink for information on special offers please call 01903 222 934.

Schools

All Schools in the area should have received an information pack about the Ice Rink and details of how to book one of the reserved school sessions.   School sessions have now closed but group sessions are available for schools however exclusivity on the rink cannot be guaranteed.

For Schools & Community Groups this is the Advisory Supervisory Staff to Pupil Ratio:-
Children 7 & Under – 2 Adults to every 6 Children
Children 8 & Over – 2 Adults to every 10 Children
Children with moderate learning /behaviour difficulties – 2 Adults to every 4 Children
Children with severe learning / behaviour difficulties – 1 to 1 supervision

Wheelchairs

Wheelchair users are welcome to take to the ice and join in the fun on the in their own wheelchairs, but there is limited availability and sessions must be booked in advance by calling 01903 203252. There is a disabled ramp to the east side of the Ice Rink so that wheelchair users and those with limited mobility can access the marquee, viewing area and ice. For the safety of all those on the ice wheelchair users will usually be accommodated during the off peak and credit crunch sessions when fewer skaters will be on the ice.

There is no charge for a wheelchair user on the ice but you will need to bring a companion to skate with you and their session will be chargeable at the advertised tariff for that session.  Please note that if a wheelchair user does not contact the Ice Rink office in advance of a session it will only be allowed onto the ice if Ice Rink staff assess that it is safe.
