It is thought ice skating was invented thousands of years ago when ancient man used bones to help them move across frozen lakes and rivers.
The modern use of metal ice skating blades has been around for many hundreds of years.
Recent advances in new technologies now allows heated metal skates to help skaters achieve higher performance.

Great Britain has won Olympics gold medals at different Winter Olympic Games.

Special Events

Community / Charity Session – 30th January 2010 @ 10am
This is a special free session for our Charity and Community Groups – Tickets can be booked by calling 01903 203252.  A maximum of 10 tickets will be allocated per group and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Press Launch – 30th January 2010 @ 11am
